Based in Paris, France, Julien Colombier was born in 1972. He is known for his unique world of painting, using pastels, chalk and acrylics on black backgrounds. His densely compressed paintings, created by the repetitive fabrication of geometric motifs and plants, have a figurative yet graphically abstract quality.
For this series, Julien has chosen two of his favourite art pieces which were part of his most recent 2023 "Hopepunk" show in Japan. They feature textured grid and gravitating patterns in his colourful signature style.
Our 100% Natural cotton Interlock fabric is extremely soft, perfectly showcasing the difference in quality between naturally and conventionally grown cotton. The fabric is a little looser than standard jersey knit, making it feel airier. It’s perfect for the milder autumn and spring conditions and the simple design is perfect for everyday use.
